Dan Kitchens have been designing and manufacturing in Sydney for over 25 years. The owners moved to Australia from Denmark in 1981 and began importing high quality kitchens that were made in Denmark. While these kitchens were of the highest standard, the owners of the business began to experience the problems associated with importing cabinetry and joinery from Europe as all such importers today experience.

The problems they found were; an inflexibility in designing with modular units, project planning and installation constraints due to timing with international shipping and custom's hold ups and costly, frustrating delays if goods happened to be scratched or damaged in transit.

As a result in 1984 they built a factory and showroom in the up and coming hills district where they discontinued importing and began designing and manufacturing the same Danish quality cabinetry and joinery here in Australia.

From here their new found freedom in full custom design and with the heritage of Danish craftsmanship established them as one of the highest quality joiners in Australia.

Today a mid sized team of the best professionals in the industry facilitate the design, manufacture and installation of arguably the best Cabinetry and joinery in Sydney and now also interstate in Melbourne, Brisbane, Noosa, the Gold Coast, and other cities.
